Uttarakhand: Religious and pilgrimage council will be formed before 4 Dham Yatra, CM Dhami’s big statement on land, spit and love jihad

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that before the Chardhar Yatra, the Uttarakhand Dharamswa and Tirthantan Parishad will be formed. He described the winter yatra as a game changer for the economy and employment of the state. The Chief Minister said that the campaign to remove illegal encroachments in the state will continue till the encroachment in the state is not over.

The Chief Minister was sharing the achievements of three years in a press conference organized at the Chief Servant House of CM residence on Cantt Road on Saturday. He said that with the blessings of PM Modi and the BJP leadership, he became the Chief Minister for the first time on July 4, 2021 and for the second time on March 23, 2022. In the first term, he went to the election overcoming the challenge of the Corona epidemic and by forming the government with the blessings of the people, he succeeded in breaking the myth that the government of one party is not formed for the second time.

When the challenge of many disasters like Raini, Silkyara Tunnel, Joshimath Land Subsidence, Mana Landslide came, he stood among his people and faced them with the cooperation of central and state agencies. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that this decade will be the decade of Uttarakhand. The women power of the state is going to play an important role in making it the decade of Uttarakhand. The CM said that all departments have been instructed to make 3-5 game changer schemes. The Finance Department has also been asked to make a roadmap for revenue receipts in accordance with the challenges of the next 10 years.

Bring strict laws against them, action will continue

The Chief Minister said that strict laws were made and campaigns were run to stop forced conversion, deal with rioters and stop encroachment. Strict action was taken against illegal madrasas or illegal occupations in the state. This action will continue till the encroachment is removed. The CM said that our action against land jihad, spit jihad and love jihad will not stop. This is not against any particular class. This action is against anarchic elements.

Winter Yatra is going to be a game changer

The CM said that the winter yatra is going to be a game changer for the state. The business which was not running for six months will pick up pace. The government will make its preparations before the time comes. The Prime Minister has given the message of winter travel. After his visit to Kedarnath, Adi Kailash, Mana and now Mukhaba, the number of pilgrims and tourists has increased there.

Uttarakhand became the first state and an example for the country

The CM said that in accordance with the spirit of the constitution makers, Uttarakhand became the first state in the country to implement UCC. Uttarakhand ranked first in the country in the ranking of Sustainable Development Goals of Niti Aayog. A strict anti-copying law was made which became an example for the country. After the implementation of the new law, more than 20 thousand vacant posts were filled and not a single case of copying came up. There was an attempt to mislead the youth. But the anti-copying law created a new wave among the youth.

Women are top priority, a decade will be made with their contribution

The Chief Minister said that he has seen his mother working in difficult times. This is the situation of every family in the state. Women are the top priority of our government. His government gave 30 percent reservation in the recruitment of government jobs. The same reservation was given in cooperatives. It is our resolve to make 1.5 lakh Lakhpati Didis by 2025. It is their contribution that will make Uttarakhand a decade. The demand for their products under Himalaya brand is increasing not only in the country but also in the world.

Dam project stuck for six decades approved

The CM said that the Lakhwar dam project was stuck for the last six decades. This project started with the efforts of the double engine government. The Song and Jamrani dam projects got approval. The work of Rishikesh-Karnpraya rail project is going on. Heli service is starting in three districts. Construction of Haridwar-Rishikesh and Sharda corridor is proposed. Kumbh and Nandaraj Yatra will be held in Haridwar in 2027, for which the government will prepare for a grand and divine event.

The destination is far, but our path is right

The CM said that a roadmap for development is being prepared keeping in mind how Uttarakhand can contribute in fulfilling the resolution of a developed India by 2047. Accepting the challenges of the future, he said that although the darkness is dense, still there is no prohibition to light a lamp. He also said that the destination is far, but our path is right.

• In the investor conference, work has started on MoUs worth 80 thousand crores out of MoUs worth 3.55 lakh crores.
• Made and amended more than 30 policies by communicating with the investors. Investors will come and employment will be generated.
• Initiated amendment in land law in accordance with public sentiment.
• Successfully organized the 38th National Games. Got the seventh position. The state is now known as Devbhoomi, Veerbhoomi and also as a sports land.
• The government is committed to make it a wedding destination.
• Took action against corruption.
• Tried to connect the migrants to their roots through conferences so that they can cooperate in making the best state.
• Per capita income increased and Uttarakhand is at the 13th position in the whole country today. The rate of unemployment also decreased.
• It became a destination for film shooting, more than 200 films were shot here.
