The State Tax Department is continuing its action against GST defaulters and traders who have not filed returns. Under the campaign, the department has recovered an amount of four crores from the defaulters in three days. While the GST registration of 2577 traders has been suspended.

State Tax Commissioner Dr. Ahmed Iqbal said that after reviewing the revenue collection at the government level, the department launched a campaign against GST defaulters and traders who are not filing returns in the state. On Monday, 1.52 crores were recovered from the defaulters, while the registration of 548 traders was suspended.

At the same time, action was taken against 146 traders who did not file returns. An amount of four crores was recovered from the defaulters in the three-day campaign. At the same time, action has been taken to suspend the registration of 2577 traders. Under the campaign, the department is continuing its action.
