Delhi CM’s convoy stopped in front of stray animals, had to get out of the car

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s convoy had to stop suddenly on the Haiderpur flyover in the national capital. The wheels of the convoy’s vehicles stopped due to 4-5 stray animals coming on the road. During this, CM Rekha Gupta got down from the car and instructed the officials to implement measures to prevent animals from coming on the road.

The CM’s convoy remained stopped on the flyover for about 15 minutes. The driver applied the brakes in time, due to which a major accident was averted. CM Rekha Gupta had gone out to inspect the metro pillars today i.e. Wednesday.

Plan to make Delhi clean

During this, he directed to remove the posters and hoardings on the metro pillars. Expressing objection to the posters and hoardings stuck on the metro pillar, he said that we have to make Delhi clean and tidy.

He said, no one has the right to damage government property. From the Chief Minister to any other person, no one has it. I request everyone not to make Delhi dirty.

CM Rekha presented the budget

Rekha Gupta has been active since becoming the CM. She is taking big decisions one by one. She presented the budget in the assembly on Tuesday itself, as well as targeted the Aam Aadmi Party. CM Rekha presented a budget of Rs 1 lakh crore for the financial year 2025-26.

In this, a blueprint has been presented to make the national capital self-reliant by emphasizing on 10 areas including cleaning of Yamuna, economic empowerment of women, infrastructure development, water and connectivity. Gupta, who is also the finance minister, in her 138-minute budget speech termed the first budget of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government as historic and said that the era of corruption and inefficiency is now over.

The BJP presented the budget in Delhi after 27 years. The party returned to power by defeating the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the assembly elections held last month.
