Municipal Corporation gave notice to Market Committee for garbage management
In Ballabhgarh, the Municipal Corporation has given notice to the Market Committee to manage the garbage coming out of the vegetable market and grain market at its own level. The Municipal Corporation does not have any permanent solution yet for the disposal of the garbage coming out of the city.
Till now the garbage of the Municipal Corporation is being dumped in Mujedi plant or Pratapgarh. The villagers are opposing this. Now the Municipal Corporation has given notice to those government departments whose garbage is up to 100 kg, all those departments should dispose of their garbage themselves. These also include the vegetable market and grain market of Ballabhgarh.
The Municipal Corporation has told the Market Committee to dispose of its garbage itself. Make organic fertilizer from this garbage or make gas, so that high mountains of garbage do not form in the city. If even after the notice, the garbage of the markets is dumped in the open, then the corporation will take action.
The Market Committee has given its disposal pump to the Municipal Corporation to remove sewer water. They also pay house tax and property tax to the corporation. If they will dispose of their garbage themselves, then why should they pay tax to the corporation. The garbage of the markets is being regularly sent to Mujedi. The garbage lying around the markets is not theirs but has been dumped by the people of residential colonies. The corporation should appoint its employees and see who is dumping the garbage. They will write a letter to the senior officials of the department regarding the disposal of the garbage of their markets and take guidelines from them, so that the corporation can be answered regarding this notice. – Inderpal Singh, Secretary and Executive Officer Market Committee Ballabhgarh
