Five days ago, history-sheeter Shivnarayan, a resident of Ghazipur village, was murdered on suspicion of immoral relations. The arrested accused Subhash has disclosed this and informed the police about the involvement of three more people in the murder. He told that a contract of Rs 2 lakh was given to commit the murder.

According to police station in-charge Arun Kumar, Subhash of the village called Shivnarayan. Along with his companions Sachin, Irfan and an unknown person, they had planned to go to Atrauli to get the bike serviced and kill him on the way back. Shivnarayan refused to go there saying that the market of Atrauli was closed. On this, they took him to Sachin’s tube well. From there, while going towards Gher in the evening, he was shot dead on the way.

Subhash told the police during interrogation that Shivnarayan had relations with his wife. He used to talk to his wife in his absence. He told this to his friend Sachin and asked him to remove him from the way. Sachin asked for two lakh rupees, out of which 50 thousand rupees were given. He was told to give the remaining amount after the work was done.

CO Barla Garvit Singh said that names of four people have come to light in the murder case. One of the arrested accused has been sent to jail on the orders of the court. Others are being searched for.
