The police administration has become alert regarding Eid and other religious events in Sambhal. ASP Shrishchandra clarified that Namaz will be offered inside the mosque and Idgah in Kotwali Sambhal area. It will not be allowed on the roads under any circumstances. He said that traditionally Namaz has been offered inside the mosque or Idgah and it will be mandatory to follow the rules.

Strict action will be taken in case of violation of rules. The administration has appealed to everyone to maintain peace and follow the rules. Keeping in mind the sensitive atmosphere in Sambhal, the administration called a meeting of the Peace Committee in view of Eid, Navratri. Prominent people of both the communities attended the meeting.

During this, ASP Shrishchandra, SDM Vandana Mishra and CO Anuj Chaudhary gave the message of maintaining peace to the people. During the meeting, some people of the Muslim community sought permission to offer Namaz on the roofs of the house, to which the administration flatly refused. ASP Shrishchandra said that there will be no permission to offer Alvida Juma and Eid namaz on the roads and on the roofs of the house.

Namaz can be offered only inside the Idgah site and mosques. No one will be allowed to offer namaz by going against the rules. Sambhal CO Anuj Chaudhary has again come into the discussion due to his statement. In the Peace Committee meeting in Sambhal on Wednesday, he said that if you want to feed Eid’s Sevai, then you will also have to eat Gujiya.

Earlier also Anuj Chaudhary came into the discussion when he said that there are 52 days of Juma and one day of Holi in a year. Those who have a problem with colors should offer namaz at home. CO Anuj Chaudhary also clarified in the meeting that the purpose of the police is only to maintain law and order, not to take action against any particular community. We only want that peace and order is maintained and there is no disturbance.
