Chardham Yatra 2025, VIP darshan banned, common devotees will be given priority

Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra 2025 is going to start from the upcoming 30th April. The doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open on 30th April. After this, the doors of Kedarnath will be opened on May 2 and Badrinath Dham on May 4. A large number of devotees have reached Chardham in the first month after the start of the Yatra. In such a situation, the government-administration has taken a big decision in view of the crowd. VIP darshan will be banned in Char Dham during the first one month. However, VIPs can have darshan like common devotees.
It has been made clear by the government-administration that if any VIP comes to visit the Dham in the first one month of Chardham Yatra 2025, then he will have to have darshan like a common devotee. No facility will be given to them by the administration. However, VIP devotees will be given darshan separately about a month after the start of Chardham Yatra 2025, but not in the beginning.
Why was the decision taken?
The administration believes that whenever a VIP devotee comes for darshan, the common devotees have to be stopped. Due to this, the crowd increases a lot and the common devotees also have to face a lot of difficulties. The first one month is the most crowded in the Char Dham. That is why VIP darshan has been banned in the first one month.
It was decided in the last meeting that VIP darshan will not be allowed during the first one month of the Yatra. If a VIP comes for darshan as a common devotee, he is welcome, but under the VIP protocol, common devotees will not be stopped. The decision of the administration is based on the current circumstances. In such a situation, if there is not much crowd during the Yatra, then a decision can be taken on VIP darshan.
