Salman Khan spoke for the first time on the death threats to Lawrence Bishnoi – ‘The age that is written for me is just this’

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s much awaited film ‘Sikander’ is about to release. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. In the film, Rashmika Mandana will be seen romancing Salman Khan on screen. At the same time, before the release of ‘Sikander’, Salman Khan has broken his silence on the constant death threats from the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang and said that ‘Jitni umr likh hai, bas yahi hai.’

Amidst the hustle and bustle of promotion, the superstar spoke openly to select media in Mumbai. In the last few months, Salman has allegedly received several threats from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. In October 2024, Salman Khan’s close friend and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was allegedly targeted by the Bishnoi gang. Despite the threat to his life, Salman has not let it affect his professional commitments.

When asked if he is worried about his safety, Salman pointed towards the sky and said, “God, Allah, everything is above. The life span that is written is written. That’s it. Sometimes you have to take so many people along, that’s the problem.”

The superstar’s family is scared of threats

It is worth noting that in the last three years, the threat of Lawrence Bishnoi gang seems to be looming over Salman Khan and his family and friends. First, Salim Khan received a threatening letter during his morning walk. Then there was a recce of Salman’s house and farm house and firing at Salman’s house. The superstar’s family is scared of these incidents.

Why is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang after Salman Khan’s life

Allegedly, Bishnoi wants to take revenge from Salman for the fact that the actor allegedly killed a black buck during the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. The Bishnoi community, which respects the black buck, was deeply hurt by the incident. In 2018, during a court appearance in Jodhpur, Bishnoi had said, “We will kill Salman Khan. Once we take action, everyone will know. I have not done anything yet, they are accusing me of crimes without any reason.”

Salman had told how much ‘Sikandar’ will collect

Salman’s ‘Sikandar’ is releasing in theaters on March 30 on the occasion of Eid. The film is directed by ‘Ghajini’ fame AR Murugadoss. Recently, during the trailer launch event of the film, Salman said that he is confident that the film will cross the Rs 200 crore mark. He said, “Whether the movie is good or bad, if it releases at any time like Eid or Diwali, it definitely crosses the Rs 100 crore mark… Rs 100 crore was a thing of the past, now it is Rs 200 crore.”
