In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, people associated with Karni Sena attacked the house of Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha member Ramji Lal Suman, who had made a controversial statement about Rana Sanga, on Wednesday. This attack happened at a time when CM Yogi Adityanath was also participating in a program in Agra. In this situation, questions are now being raised on Agra Police as well. At the same time, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also raised this issue.

Akhilesh Yadav shared a post through his social media and wrote, ‘Now has the bulldozer also been snatched away? Now someone else is getting the bulldozer run and someone else is driving it. Now at the time of farewell, will they snatch away the identity along with the post? This is not a good thing.’ According to media reports, the police failed to stop the protesters in the 20 km stretch from Kuberpur to the MP’s residence in Hariparvat.

More than 100 vehicles arrived

In fact, the workers of Karni Sena, hiding around the residence of the SP MP, proved the police preparations unsuccessful. The 50 to 60 policemen deployed there could not stand in front of the Karni Sena workers. Karni Sena’s national president Veer Pratap Singh and regional Karni Sena president Okendra Chauhan had come there. Workers were also riding with them in more than 100 vehicles.

According to the police, many people have been detained in the case. Officials claimed that the police tried to stop the attackers at many places in the city and their efforts helped in averting a major incident. Condemning the incident, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has verbally attacked CM Yogi and his government in the case. About 10 policemen have also been injured in this incident.
