After Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham, on the occasion of Hindu New Year, the date and time for opening the doors of Gangotri Dham has been decided by Gangotri Dham temple.
Time for opening the doors of Gangotri Dham announced
Let us tell you that on 30th April, the doors of Gangotri Dham will be opened for devotees with rituals at 10:30 am on Akshaya Tritiya in Shukla Paksha.
The idol of Maa Ganga will leave for Gangotri Dham from its winter residence Mukhaba village on 29th April in the afternoon with ritualistic worship.
After night rest, the Doli will reach Gangotri Dham on 30th April
The idol of Maa Ganga will reach Bhairav temple in Bhairon valley situated at a distance of about 15 kms on foot. After night rest there, it will leave for Gangotri Dham on 30th April in the morning.
The doors of Yamunotri Dham will open on 3rd April
Let us tell you that the doors of Yamunotri Dham will also open on 30th April. The time of opening of the doors will be decided on the occasion of Yamuna Jayanti on 3rd April.
