But the Vigilance did not get the green signal for investigation from the Dhami Cabinet. After which now Vikesh Negi is preparing to take this matter to the High Court.

RTI activist Vikesh Negi had revealed through RTI and ADR report regarding the income of the minister that Ganesh Joshi has become a millionaire in the last 15 years. The minister has more than ten plots and factories in Dehradun and Haridwar. According to Negi, Ganesh Joshi took a salary of only 36 lakhs while being an MLA and minister. But in the affidavit he gave in the 2022 elections, he has declared his income as nine crores. The advocate says that the minister has acquired assets far more than his income.
