After raising the issue of illegal mining in the Lok Sabha, former Chief Minister and Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat has now questioned the intentions of the mining officer in Uttarakhand. He said, did the officer complete the investigation in just two hours? It is also a matter of investigation whether he too is in collusion with the miners?

In fact, after Trivendra raised the issue of mining in Parliament, the state mining officer rejected all the allegations. Releasing details, he said that the allegations related to illegal mining in the state are completely baseless. Revenue from mining in the state is continuously increasing. Permission to mining vehicles to run at night has been given to keep the traffic system in the state better.

When media personnel sought former CM Trivendra’s comment on this statement of the officer, he said that he would not comment on the statement of any officer. Further raising the question, he said, did the officer complete the investigation in just two hours of my statement?

He said that revenue should also increase in a legal manner. This statement of Trivendra is also going viral on social media. In this, he is saying that he will also talk to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in this matter.

Government giving protection to illegal mining: Uttarakhand Congress State General Secretary Naveen Joshi

Uttarakhand Congress State General Secretary Naveen Joshi accused the BJP government of giving protection to the increasing illegal mining in the state. He said that from Haridwar to Kumaon, the rivers are being cut and the BJP government is turning a blind eye.

In a statement issued to the media on Saturday, Joshi said that BJP MP Trivendra Singh Rawat raising the issue of illegal mining in Parliament proves that his own government has completely failed to stop this problem.

Said, despite the BJP’s double engine government at the Center and the state, if illegal mining is at its peak in Uttarakhand, then it is clear that the government itself is in cahoots with the mining mafia. Joshi said that the environment of the state is being severely damaged due to the free hand given to the mining mafia.
