Delhi in danger! Earthquake like Myanmar and Thailand predicted in 24 hours…NSC said- do not panic

b
After wreaking havoc in Myanmar and Thailand, an earthquake of magnitude 7 will hit the capital Delhi and the India-Nepal border in the next 24 hours. The National Seismology Center said that this scary prediction has no basis. The earthquake has been predicted by Vikas Kumar, Director of Vikas Geosensing Private Limited. His prediction has come at a time when many cities of Myanmar and Thailand have been destroyed by earthquake.
In the warning issued by Vikas Kumar, it was written that all of you are informed that on March 31, 2025 at 7:15 am, the first signal from the Earthquake Early Warning System (ANDSS) is being received at 20 degrees north-south from Delhi, which is 100 kilometers away. This earthquake can come between 3 magnitude to 5 magnitude.
Apart from this, the second signal is being received in the India Nepal border area, which is 300 kilometers away and this earthquake signal is being received at 45 degrees towards the north-east of Delhi. This earthquake can come between 5 magnitude to 7 magnitude. Please be alert and be safe, this earthquake can come within 24 hours. This earthquake information has been received from the machine installed in Ganesh Nagar, Pandav Nagar Delhi. “
NCS statement on earthquake prediction
The National Seismology Center has denied this claim of Vikas Kumar, Director of Vikas Geosensing. While sharing the notice of earthquake prediction, NCS wrote that “This prediction has been made by Vikas Kumar at his own level. Approval has not been taken from the National Center for Seismology for this. It has been told by NCS that Vikas Kumar has made such claims earlier also, whereas he has been repeatedly appealed to not spread panic by spreading such baseless news. He did not get NCS approval earlier and still has not got it.
Flaws in prediction: NCS
While listing the flaws in the prediction made by Vikas Kumar, it has been said that his notice mentions 20 degrees and 45 degrees, which do not make any sense. He has not told whether it is longitude or latitude. NCS said that Vikas Kumar has issued this notice on his own and the Seismological Center does not agree with it. It was also clarified that till now it has not been possible to predict the earthquake.
