Uttarakhand: IAS Association condemned Trivendra Rawat’s statement ‘lions do not hunt dogs’, said this

Uttarakhand IAS Association has condemned the statement of Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat. Along with this, an appeal has been made to maintain the honor and dignity of the officers.
IAS Association condemns Trivendra Rawat’s statement
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of IAS Association President Anand Vardhan. In which it was said that IAS officers also have the right to self-respect and dignity like common citizens. Any person, institution or organization should avoid such words or conduct, which hurts the dignity of the officers and their families.
What is the whole matter
BJP MP Trivendra Singh Rawat had expressed concern in Parliament over the rampant illegal mining in Uttarakhand. He had said in the Lok Sabha that mining mafias are openly operating illegal trucks. Heavy overloading is done in these trucks. Mines are transported without any valid permission. Due to these illegal activities, the roads and bridges of the state are being damaged a lot.
Mining Secretary had replied to the MP
After his statement in Parliament, Mining Secretary Brijesh Kumar Sant had said that since the formation of the state from 2002 to 2025, the state of Uttarakhand never received a revenue of Rs 200 crore from mining. But by curbing illegal mining, the state has achieved this target in the financial year 2023-24. Which he described as the achievement of the government.
MP used abusive language for the officer
