The Government of India has released an amount of Rs 144 crore to Uttarakhand under the Samagra Shiksha Yojana. Let us tell you that this is the first time that the state has received the fourth installment in a row in the same financial year. The state’s School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat praised the departmental officials on this achievement. Also, he gave instructions to spend the financial assistance received from the Center on time.

According to the School Education Department, the fourth installment has been released for the first time to the state under the Samagra Shiksha Yojana. Under this, the Center has sent an amount of Rs 144 crore to the state. Which also includes 10 percent state share, which is a big achievement for the state. The Government of India usually releases the approved amount in four installments, but for the last several years, due to various reasons, the state is getting only three installments.
The fourth installment was released to the state for the first time
Let us tell you that the Center has approved Rs 1228 crore to the state under Samagra Shiksha in the financial year 2024-25, which includes Rs 898 crore as new recommendation and Rs 330 crore as liability of previous years. In comparison, the fourth installment has been released to the state, which is a big achievement for the state. The fourth installment received from the Center will increase the expenditure of the state.

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the release of the fourth installment to the state for the first time under Samagra Shiksha by the Central Government reflects the government’s commitment to strengthen the education system in the state. Due to regular departmental review, the budget could be spent on time.
