Sita Devi, her husband Neeraj Paswan and her associate Devnandan Sah are doing this business in collusion with each other. On this news, the police of the Excise Police Station raided Sita Devi’s house, from where 42 cartons of foreign liquor were recovered.

2 liquor smugglers absconded on seeing the police

However, Neeraj Paswan and Devnandan Sah absconded on seeing the police who arrived for the raid. But the female smuggler could not escape from there. The police arrested Sita Devi from the spot. The market value of the recovered liquor is said to be around 5 lakh rupees. This also makes it clear that despite liquor ban in Bihar, liquor smugglers are not refraining from smuggling liquor. Now women smugglers are also getting involved in the illegal liquor business.

Success achieved on secret information

The Inspector cum Station Head of Excise Police Station said that this raid was done on secret information. 42 cartons of foreign liquor were recovered from the house and Sita Devi has been arrested. At present, the police is investigating from where the liquor was brought and who all are involved in it. Apart from this, the police is continuously taking action against illegal liquor and three other people have also been arrested from three different police station areas.

Liquor smuggling by bike in Jamui

Meanwhile, in Jamui district, the police has caught a delivery boy who was smuggling liquor. Malaypur police took this action in Katauna of the police station area. Police said that the name of the arrested youth is Suraj Jha. He is a resident of Kenduadih village of Chandramandi police station area. Suraj was smuggling liquor from Jharkhand to Bihar by posing as a delivery boy.

He was doing home delivery on bike in Bihar

According to Malaipur police, the team was checking vehicles near Katauna. Then Suraj started running away on the bike. Police chased and caught him. During interrogation, it was found that he used to bring liquor from Jharkhand and supply it in Jamui district. According to the police, Suraj was going to give liquor to someone near Jhajha bus stand. Then the police caught him. Police have recovered liquor from him and also seized his bike.
