Uttarakhand: Toll free number will be issued soon for complaints against private schools, Education Minister Dhan Singh gave instructions

Private schools in the state have been accused of arbitrary fee hike and pressuring students to buy books from a particular shop. Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has directed Director of Education Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati to issue a toll-free number to register such complaints and take action on them.

The Education Minister said, the rule is that no private school can increase fees for three years. Even after this, if there are complaints of arbitrary fees, books, school dress etc., then the department will take action on them.

For this, a toll-free number will be issued by the department soon. Departmental action will be taken on complaints received on this number. At the same time, parents can also complain directly to the Chief Education Officer and District Education Officers of the district.
