Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, known for his different style, was once again seen among the players. In Haridwar, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami encouraged the Kabaddi players. The players playing Kabaddi also looked very happy to see CM Dhami playing among them.
Actually, on Friday, April 4, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was on a tour to Haridwar. During this, first of all CM Dhami went to his ashram to meet his guru Swami Raj Rajeshwaranand. In Navratri, CM Dhami took the blessings of his guru Swami Raj Rajeshwaranand. After this, CM Dhami reached the closing ceremony of Kabaddi All Yuva Stars Championship 2025 organized by Uttarakhand Kabaddi Association, where Chief Minister Dhami also wrestled with the players.
Along with this, CM Dhami said in his address that today Uttarakhand is making its new identity as ‘Devbhoomi’ as well as ‘Khel Bhoomi’. Recently, in the 38th National Games held in the state, our players have made the state proud by winning more than 100 medals.
The state government is taking important steps to promote sports. With the establishment of Uttarakhand’s first sports university in Haldwani and women’s sports college in Lohaghat, the government is strengthening the sports infrastructure. Along with this, CM Dhami also gave the message of ‘Fit India, Fit Uttarakhand’.
