Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Chaitra Ashtami fair organized in the historic temple premises of Maa Agniri Devi in Chaukhutia of Dwarahat assembly. During this, the Chief Minister took the blessings of Maa Agniri and prayed and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He wished everyone a safe and happy Navratri and Ram Navami festival. After this, CM Dhami reached the program organized in Chaitra Ashtami Mela. Here he was warmly welcomed by the people of the area.
During this, CM Dhami also made many announcements. He announced to start classes of Economics and English subjects in the first phase at the postgraduate level in Chaukhutia College from the next session to provide higher education opportunities to the students of Chaukhutia and surrounding areas. A scientific action plan will be made to revive natural sources for a permanent solution to the drinking water problem of Dwarahat area. Work will be done soon on Jyolikot, Bhawali, Khairna, Majkhali, Dwarahat Chaukhutia, Karnaprayag National Highway. He talked about increasing the capacity of Community Health Center Chaukhutia from 30 beds to 50 beds.
Launch of Jageshwar Prasadam
During this, the Chief Minister also launched the Jageshwar Prasadam Yojana for Jageshwar Dham under the Himotthan Yojana on the initiative of District Magistrate Alok Kumar Pandey. Under this scheme, a different form of Prasad of Jageshwar Dham will be seen. Under this, Prasad will be prepared by the women of the self-help groups of the district. In this Prasad, devotees will get Bal Mithai, which will be made from pure hill khoya and hill products like sesame, amaranth. Along with this, copper coins will also be given. These coins will have the idol of Jageshwar Dham. There will also be a small book of information related to Jageshwar Dham in the Prasad. This will promote the famous copper industry of the district. Along with this, the economy of women will also increase.
