Uttarakhand: Lakhs of people took advantage of the multipurpose camp, 128 youths got employment in various companies

The state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has completed a successful tenure of three years last week. On this occasion, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, multipurpose camps were organized in all the districts on the theme of three years of service, good governance and development. In which the benefits of government schemes were extended to thousands of people of the state.

Drones distributed to Kisan Sangh

In Champawat, the Agriculture Department distributed drones to Goljyu Kisan Utpadak Sangh on 75 percent subsidy. Three power weeders, three flour mills were distributed on subsidy to Jai Bhumiyaal Devta Self Help Group of Farm Machinery Bank Jhalakuri. Similarly, cheques of Rs 50,000 each were distributed to five beneficiaries of Nanda Gaura Yojana. Cheques of Rs 60,000 each were distributed to 10 beneficiaries of Atal Awas Yojana in Lohaghat and four beneficiaries in Barakot. At the same time, 11 camps were organized in Haridwar district, in which more than 21 thousand beneficiaries were given the benefit of various government schemes.

Employment provided to 128 youth

A large number of registrations were also done under the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) under the multipurpose camps. In Udham Singh Nagar district alone, 23 registrations were completed under UCC. Apart from this, in the camp organized in Haldwani of Nainital district, 128 youth were provided employment in various companies by the Employment Department. During this, more than 236 disability certificates were made in the state and prosthetic devices were distributed to about 300 disabled people.

Sales of women groups increased

Stalls of women self-help groups were set up in the camps organized under the Good Governance Week organized in Tehri, through which the groups made a total sale of Rs 4 lakh 34 thousand. During this, cheques of various schemes were distributed to 92 women self-help groups in Uttarkashi. In Pauri too, cheques worth a total of Rs 15 lakh were distributed to 10 self-help groups. A loan of 9 lakh 40 thousand rupees under various schemes was also distributed to seven beneficiaries by the cooperative society.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is trying to reach the person standing in the last row in every way. For this, the officers have been instructed to organize continuous public dialogue and special camps in remote areas.
