International Sports Day: In Uttarakhand, Sports Minister honored the winners

On the occasion of International Sports Day, Sports Minister Rekha Arya felicitated the winners of cross country race, hockey and football friendly matches. This event was organized by the Sports Department at the Pavilion Ground.
Plan to prepare 40 athletes for 2036 Olympics
Sports Minister Rekha Arya said on the closing occasion that the players of our state have made their name shine at the national level by performing brilliantly in the 38th National Games, but now we have to prepare to shine on the international stage. The minister said that we have planned to prepare at least 40 athletes for the 2036 Olympics.
Government jobs will be given to medal winning players
The Sports Minister said that recently our Sports Legacy Plan has been prepared. It is being implemented. The minister said that the players who win medals in the National Games will soon be given jobs, its process is going on. The Sports Minister said that the state government is committed to improving the young players and making their future bright.
