According to the police, this incident took place in a firm in Kaloor area of Kochi. Whereas this physical punishment was given in Perumbavoor.
Police called it misleading but investigation continues
Police has currently termed this video as misleading. They say that this video was shot by a former manager, who had an old dispute with the company owner. He involved new trainees in this act and then made the video viral.
Labor Department sought report
Now the State Labor Department has also taken cognizance of this entire incident. Orders have been given to investigate the inhumanity happening at the workplace. After the video went viral, statements of employees have been recorded. Currently the matter is under police investigation.
