Waqf Board has 5388 properties in Uttarakhand, more than 2 thousand digitized, Dhami government will take action

The central government got the Waqf Amendment Bill passed in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. However, many parties are also knocking the doors of the Supreme Court in protest against it. Here in Uttarakhand too, the government has made its opinion clear regarding the properties of the board. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami says that the properties coming out of the board will be used for public welfare.

2147 lands (different parts) of the Waqf Board are registered in Uttarakhand. Whereas if information is taken about the entire properties, then this property is 5388 immovable properties. The special thing is that more than 2000 board properties (in different forms) have also been digitized in Uttarakhand. Along with this, there are more than 2000 such properties for which no records have been found at present. In view of all these matters, the state government is getting such properties investigated which have no records. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has made it clear that if there is no heir to these properties, then the government will get schools, colleges, hospitals i.e. public welfare works done on these properties. However, the board also says that the properties which do not have records or the properties which have not been registered yet. Very soon these will also be registered and the records will also be provided to the department.

The maximum property in Uttarakhand has been found in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Vikas Nagar and Sahaspur areas of Dehradun. However, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also made it clear that the government will not take any action on any such property of the board whose record is completely correct. In a statement issued by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, it has been said that the way the government is continuously taking action against illegal madrasas in the state. In this way, no illegal property will be allowed to be grabbed by anyone.
