The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that security forces in Hassan Khel area of ​​North Waziristan saw a group of Khawarij trying to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Eight terrorists were killed and four others were injured after the encounter. The term ‘Khawarij’ is used for the banned TTP.

What is Pakistan saying to the Afghan government

The Inter-Services Public Relations said, “Pakistan has been constantly asking the interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management on its part of the border.” The ISPR said that “Pakistan’s security forces are committed to securing its borders and eliminating the threat of terrorism from the country.”

16 terrorists were killed

Earlier in late March, similar attempts were made which were foiled by Pakistani security forces, killing 16 terrorists. A few days later, 11 terrorists were killed in four separate encounters with security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
