In a letter received in the Public Grievance Cell of the Superintendent of Police office of Shahjahanpur, CM Yogi Adityanath has been threatened with death on April 10. The person who sent the letter has described himself as a relative of mafia Mukhtar Ansari and Atiq Ahmed. He has also said that he has taken training from ISI. The sub-inspector of Sadar police station has registered a case in the matter.

On March 25, the letter addressed to the SP was received by the Public Grievance Cell through registered post. It mentioned Abid son of Mehndi Ansari and Nafees son of Nabhi Hasan Ansari, residents of village Gunara, Jalalabad. It is written in the letter that relatives Mukhtar Ansari and Atiq Ahmed were killed in a police encounter and the sons of both the leaders were sent to jail. They challenge that on April 10, CM Yogi Adityanath will be killed. If the Superintendent of Police of the district has the guts, then stop them.

Not only this, it is also written that I challenge in advance that if you can save your CM, then save him. April 10 will be the last day of his life. Everything that we need has arrived from Pakistan. We have been trained by ISI. We are their agents. It is better to take it as a joke.

Is it a conspiracy to trap someone?

After the letter was received, there was a stir in the police department. In this case, sub-inspector Dinesh Kumar of Sadar police station has lodged a report in Sadar police station under section 351-3, 352 of BNS. At the same time, it is being told that a person has sent a letter to trap other persons due to land dispute. A registered letter has been sent from the post office located in Keruganj. The accused has been taken into custody, but the police is still denying it.

Wrong pin code, mobile number also entered

The pin code of Shahjahanpur has also been entered wrongly on the letter. Mobile number has also been entered on it. The police has included all the details including the registry number in the case registered on April 4.

SP City Devendra Kumar said that after receiving the letter, an FIR has been registered and the matter is being investigated. The matter will be disclosed soon.
