Uttarakhand: MP Anil Baluni went inside the tunnel and saw the work of Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project, it will be reviewed every 3 months

Garhwal MP Anil Baluni inspected the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project. He visited the under-construction tunnels and reviewed the progress of the project and took detailed information from the officials. Baluni said that this rail project is a boon for Uttarakhand. After the inspection, Anil Baluni said that now the progress of the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail route work will be reviewed every three months.

The Garhwal MP said that its launch will not only promote pilgrimage and tourism, but will also give a new direction to the livelihood of the mountains. While this much-awaited rail line will facilitate transportation, tourism, business and local employment will get a new boost. Due to the visionary thinking and development-oriented approach of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, those works are also becoming possible in Uttarakhand today.

Went inside the railway tunnel and saw the work

Garhwal MP Anil Baluni on Monday conducted a field inspection of the under-construction Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line project during his visit to his Lok Sabha constituency. During the inspection, he also visited various tunnels being built under the project and took stock of the progress of the work. On this occasion, Baluni discussed in detail with the Chief Project Manager of the project Ajit Singh Yadav and other engineers.

Baluni described the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line as the lifeline of Uttarakhand

Anil Baluni said that this multipurpose master plan is going to become the future lifeline of Uttarakhand, which will facilitate the movement of pilgrims, tourists, army and local citizens. The MP said that due to the visionary thinking and people-oriented policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the development of Uttarakhand has gained unprecedented speed in the last ten years. This scheme seemed impossible at one time, today it has taken a real shape and will soon be dedicated to the general public.

The grandeur of the rail project is known by going inside the tunnel

After inspecting various tunnels of Uttarakhand’s biggest and important rail project, an excited Anil Baluni said- I reviewed the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project with the officers and employees. I went to many tunnels and inspected them. I talked to our officers, engineers and employees working there for a long time and got to know their problems. When we talk about the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail route, we get to know more by going inside the tunnel than what we hear. By going inside the tunnel, its vastness and grandeur is known.

The progress of the rail project will be reviewed every 3 months

Anil Baluni said that definitely after seeing this entire project, we get to know what a great big project Uttarakhand has got during PM Modi’s tenure as Prime Minister. When this project is completed, it will change the economy of not only Garhwal but the entire Uttarakhand. Today I have discussed with the officers that every three months we will discuss the progress of this rail project. Our effort will be to dedicate this project to the public as soon as possible.

The first rail project of the mountains

Rishikesh-Karnprayag is the biggest rail project of Uttarakhand, which will connect the plains to the mountains. This rail line will be 126 kilometers long. It is currently under construction. This rail line will connect Rishikesh to Karnprayag. The interesting thing will be that the 7-hour road journey from Rishikesh to Karnprayag will be completed in just 2 hours after the train starts running.
