Police registered a case against four youths
It is being told that the family of a victim gave a complaint to the police regarding the matter. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case under the POCSO Act against Tanuj Gadiya, Yogesh Gadiya, Deepak and Lucky Kathayat. The police raided to arrest the accused. As soon as the information was received, the accused left their companion Tanuj and fled from Kapkot to Bageshwar in a car to avoid arrest.
Two accused escaped by dodging the police
On Sunday evening, while patrolling near Mandalsera bypass, the police tried to stop a suspicious car without a number plate. As soon as the police opened the door of the car, the accused tried to escape by pushing the policemen. The police chased the accused and stopped them at the eastern end of the Mandalsera bypass bridge. During this, Deepak and Lucky escaped by dodging the police. While Yogesh was arrested by the police.
Search for absconding accused continues
At present, the police is raiding to arrest absconding Lucky Kathayat and Deepak alias Daksh. The police has registered a case against both of them under BNS. Regarding the case, SP Bageshwar Chandrashekhar Ghodke said that a special team has been formed to arrest the absconding accused. Both the accused will be arrested as soon as possible.
