Uttarakhand: Former CM Harish Rawat will do Ganga Samman Yatra from Mukhaba to Devprayag Sangam, will listen to public problems

Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat will start Ganga Samman Yatra from Mukhaba, the winter sojourn of Ganga, on 15th April. During this time, he will listen to the problems of the people by walking on the banks of Ganga from Tehri and Srinagar to Devprayag including the district. Public issues will also be discussed by talking to the local people.

Coordinator of Ganga Samman Yatra Pradeep Rawat said that former CM Harish Rawat will reach Uttarkashi on 14th April. After that, on 15th April, he will reach Mukhaba village, the winter sojourn of Maa Ganga. There he will start after special worship of Ganga. During this time, he will walk on the banks of Ganga in Harshil, Bhatwadi, Maneri, district headquarters.

After that, on the next day, 16th October, after visiting Baba Kashi Vishwanath, he will interact with the people of the city. Rawat said that Harish Rawat will then meet the villagers in Kandisaur, Dobarachanti of Tehri district including Dunda Chinyalisaur and will do Ganga Samman Yatra till Bhemunta village. His journey will continue till Maletha the next day on 17 April. After that on 18 April, he will conclude his journey at the banks of Alaknanda river including Srinagar and at Devprayag at the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda and interact with the people.
