Cold returned again after rain in Uttarakhand, IMD issued hailstorm alert for these districts

The mood of the weather has changed in Uttarakhand for the last three days. Due to rain, the state has started feeling cold once again. Weather scientists have issued a hailstorm alert for seven districts.

According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of hailstorm in Chamoli, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Almora, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts on April 12. Also, strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 km per hour. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for lightning in Dehradun, Pauri, Champawat and Nainital districts as well as thunderstorms at a maximum speed of 50 km per hour at some places.

Advice given to avoid traffic

Let us tell you that it is raining intermittently in the capital Dehradun since this morning. According to meteorologists, today the maximum temperature of Doon is expected to be around 29°C and the minimum temperature is expected to be 18°C. Meteorologists have advised local people and tourists to travel only after checking the weather forecast. They have also appealed to be cautious on river banks, landslide prone areas and flood prone areas.
