Uttarakhand: Schedule of Baba Kedarnath’s Doli Yatra released, doors will open for devotees on May 2
The doors of Kedarnath temple will be opened for devotees on 2 May this year. Preparations have started by BKTC for this.

Let us tell you that Kedarnath’s movable idol doli will depart from Omkareshwar temple Ukhimath for Kedarnath Dham on 28 April. Chief Executive Officer of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BTKC) Vijay Prasad Thapliyal informed that the journey to Kedarnath Dham is starting from May. On 2 May at 7 am, as per tradition, the doors of Baba Kedar will be opened for devotees.
Thapliyal said that as per the scheduled program of Baba Kedarnath’s movable idol doli will depart from Omkareshwar temple Ukhimath for Kedarnath Dham. He said that as per the scheduled program, Bhairavnath will be taken out from Omkareshwar temple Ukhimath on 27 April after the evening aarti as per tradition. On the morning of 28 April, the Lord’s movable idol doli will depart and will rest for the night at Vishwanath Temple Guptkashi.
The doors will open for devotees on 2 May
On the morning of 29 April, Baba’s movable idol doli will rest for the night at Fata. On the morning of 30 April, the Lord’s movable idol doli will rest for the night at Gauri Mai Temple Gaurikund. The next day (on 1 May), the Lord’s movable idol doli will depart from Shri Gauri Mai Temple in the morning and reach Mandir Bhandar Kedarnath Dham in the afternoon. Thapliyal said that on 2 May at 7 am, the doors of Kedarnath Temple will be opened for darshan as per tradition.
