Uttarakhand: Dhami government changed the names of 4 government schools in 3 districts, Chakrata’s Government Inter College Hatal was renamed as Late Pandit Jhanoram Sharma Government Inter College

In Uttarakhand, the government of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has changed the names of many squares and roads in the state in the past. However, there was also opposition to this decision of the government, but the government did not change its decision. It is certain that the government is definitely considering the matter of changing the name of Mianwala in the capital Dehradun. But today the government has also changed the names of many schools in Uttarakhand.
Names of these schools changed: The government has changed the names of four schools in Champawat, Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal and Tehri districts. All these are government inter colleges.
- Government Inter College Dubchaura Champawat was renamed as Shaheed Lance Naik Vikram Singh Government Inter College Dubchaura Champawat.
- Government Inter College Hatal (Chakrata) Dehradun was renamed as Late Pandit Jhanoram Sharma Government Inter College Hatal, (Chakrata) Dehradun.
- Government Inter College Sandhar (Bironkhal) Pauri Garhwal was named after freedom fighter Late. Shambhu Prasad Joshi Government Inter College Sandhar (Birokhal) Pauri Garhwal was renamed.
- Government Inter College Thati Budhakedar Tehri Garhwal was renamed Shaheed Havildar Bachan Singh Negi Government Inter College Thati Budhakedar.
Amount approved for schemes
Along with this order, the Dhami government has also released funds for many schemes of Uttarakhand.
- Rs 472.81 lakh for the construction work of internal roads of various gram panchayats under District Panchayat area Chandroti in Mussoorie assembly constituency of Dehradun district.
- Rs 659.08 lakh for improvement and asphalting of Ghat-Ramni motor road in Nandanagar development block of Tharali assembly constituency of Chamoli district under Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra.
- Approval of 697.35 lakhs has been given for the work of hot mixing by DBM and BC for Dhari Dhundsir (Kirtinagar Dangdhari other district) motor road.
- 379.41 lakhs for the construction of access road on the Nepal side (downstream) of the 110 meter double lane motor bridge under construction at a place called Charchhoom on Kali river between India and Nepal in Dharchula assembly constituency of Pithoragarh.
- Along with this, the Chief Minister has also given administrative approval of schemes worth Rs 453.96 crore for 12 schemes under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund CRIF of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India.
