Uttarakhand: On the occasion of Baisakhi festival, devotees took a holy dip in the Ganga and earned blessings by worshipping and donating

The festival of Baisakhi is being celebrated with full devotion and enthusiasm in Haridwar. Crowds of devotees are gathering at various Ganga Ghats including Har Ki Pauri. Devotees from all over the country are worshipping after taking bath in Maa Ganga.

In fact, on the occasion of Baisakhi, the wheat crop is ready and harvesting starts from this day. While the Khalsa sect was also established on this day. This is the reason why this festival is celebrated with great pomp in the Hindu and Punjabi community. Ganga bath on Baisakhi has special significance. Due to the importance of bathing, a large number of devotees have reached Haridwar and are earning virtue by taking bath in the Ganga, worshiping and donating. The police administration has also made strict arrangements for the safety of the pilgrims. The fair area has been divided into 4 super zones, 14 zones and 40 sectors and police force has been deployed.

People who have ever committed any sin in their life, their sins start getting destroyed by just bathing in its water. With the effect of virtue, a person starts becoming successful in life, but this Baisakh Sankranti has special importance, which we call Baisakhi.

People who face uncertainty in their work should come and bathe in the Ganga and donate. If you cannot go to the Ganga bank, then meditate on the Ganga and put a Tulsi leaf in the water and bathe in it, then you will get the same result as bathing in Har Ki Pauri Brahmakund. Donating after bathing brings virtue and also blessings of ancestors. Devotees who come to Haridwar to bathe in the Ganga on Baisakhi believe that bathing in the Ganga on this occasion is of great importance. They believe that bathing in Maa Ganga brings welfare and Maa Ganga fulfills the desired wish and grants salvation.
