Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Check the traffic plan before leaving home, there will be traffic jam on these routes of Dehradun

On Ambedkar Jayanti, a procession will be taken out in Dehradun on Monday. For which Dehradun Police has diverted many routes. If you are planning to go out anywhere in Dehradun city on 14th April i.e. today, then this news is very important for you, otherwise you may have to face heavy traffic jam.
Police prepared traffic plan
According to the police, this procession will start from DL Road at 2 pm and go to Ambedkar Ground. During this time it will pass through many main intersections and markets of the city. Due to the procession, the police has diverted traffic on many routes. Let us tell you that the procession will start from DL Road and will end at Ambedkar Ground via Beni Bazaar, Subhash Road (PHQ), Pacific Tiraha, Globe Chowk, Orient Chowk, Gandhi Park, Ambedkar Park, Paltan Bazaar, Raja Road, Gandhi Road, Tehsil Chowk, Darshan Lal Chowk, Lasdon Chowk, Kanak Chowk, Rozgar Tiraha, Survey Chowk, Karanpur Bazaar, Nalapani Road, Ambedkar Chowk.
Dehradun’s diversion plan
- When the procession reaches Beni Bazar from DL Road, traffic will be diverted from Bahal Chowk towards Globe Chowk.
- When the procession reaches Pacific Tiraha, traffic coming from Kanak Chowk will be diverted towards Orient Chowk or Survey Chowk.
- Traffic will be diverted from Darshanlal Chowk, Orient Chowk and Chakrata Road around Ghantaghar.
- Traffic going towards Tehsil Chowk will be sent through Dron Cut and IG Cut to Doon Chowk.
- Diversion will be in place between Karanpur Bazaar and Survey Chowk.
- After the procession reaches Paltan Bazaar, traffic will be normalised on most routes.
