Air hostess sexually harassed while going from hotel to hospital, male staff did dirty work

A very shocking and shameful news has come out from Gurugram, Haryana. An air hostess admitted in the ICU of a well-known private hospital here has made a serious allegation of sexual harassment on the male staff. The woman was on ventilator support at that time and was not in a condition to speak anything. The 46-year-old victim is originally from West Bengal and works as an air hostess in a company. She was staying at a hotel in Sector-15, Gurugram on April 5. Her health deteriorated due to drowning in the hotel’s swimming pool, after which she was immediately admitted to the ICU in a private hospital for treatment.

Obscene acts happened while on ventilator
The woman told in her complaint that when she was on ventilator support in the ICU on April 6, the male staff sexually abused her. According to the woman, at that time she was completely unconscious, but she was feeling some movement and touch. The woman told that there were two nurses around her but they did nothing.

Narrated her ordeal after regaining consciousness
When the woman’s condition improved after being discharged from the hospital, she informed her husband about the entire incident on April 13. The husband immediately changed the hospital for treatment and then informed the police about the entire matter with the help of a legal advisor.

FIR registered at Sadar Police Station
According to Gurugram Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar, a case has been registered at Sadar Police Station on the woman’s complaint. The police team has reached the hospital and the duty chart, staff information and CCTV footage of the ICU are being examined to identify the accused.

The hospital did not give any response
The most shocking thing after this heinous act is that no official statement has come from the hospital administration so far. The victim and her family allege that the hospital did not take the matter seriously and initially tried to hide it.
