Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Party MLA Indrajit Saroj recently made a controversial statement, which has created a ruckus. He said that if India’s temples had power, then robbers like Mohammed bin Qasim, Mahmud Ghaznavi and Mohammed Ghori would not have come to the country. Reacting to the statement of his party MLA, President Akhilesh Yadav said that I have not heard his statement, however I will say in the party that no question related to history should be raised.

The Samajwadi Party chief said, “I have not heard his statement, I have also not heard Ramji Lal Suman’s statement, but I will say in the party that no question related to history should be raised. I want that if the things of history cannot show us a good path, if it cannot take us on a positive path, if it cannot give us a positive direction, then history should be allowed to remain history. History should not be discussed.”

He said that the socialists have done so many progressive things, said so many progressive things

At the same time, opposition parties have also retaliated on Indrajit Saroj’s statement. Sanjay Nishad, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, said that this statement is an insult to India’s culture and faith. When India was divided, those who liked Shariat went to Pakistan and those who loved Indian culture stayed here. Today, people of Pakistan are talking about coming to India because India’s culture and civilization have strength, which is not there in Pakistan.

Sanjay Nishad said on the statement of the SP leader that people of Pakistan want to come to India, because there is happiness here, life is easy. The situation abroad is tougher than here. Statements like Saroj’s have harmed the country, damaged the country’s economy. These are the people who have worked to weaken this country.

He advised the Samajwadi Party and said that they need to change their thinking and advisors. Just like Manthra spoke sweetly in Ramayana, but because of her Lord Rama had to suffer 14 years of exile, similarly if Akhilesh Yadav keeps listening to wrong advisors, it will be difficult for Samajwadi Party to return to power. Akhilesh should review his advisors.

On the other hand, BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok said that there is a competition going on in the country as to who can give the most poisonous statement. Leaders like Indrajit Saroj, Ramjilal Suman and Tejashwi Yadav have started thinking that the more they speak against Hindus, the stronger the vote bank of Muslims will become. This mentality is going to break the country.
