Uttarakhand: Dhami cabinet meeting ends, 25 proposals approved

The meeting of the Dhami cabinet going on in the secretariat is over. In this cabinet meeting chaired by CM Dhami, 25 proposals have been approved.

These proposals were approved in the Dhami cabinet

• The kiwi policy of the state has been approved, the policy has been brought to promote kiwi cultivation.
• Approval to the Chief Minister Micro Food Enterprise Upgradation Scheme, 60 percent subsidy will be given.
• Approval to the apple harvesting management scheme, subsidy will be given for setting up cold storage.
• Approval to the scheme to promote dragon fruit cultivation, up to 80 percent subsidy will be given.
• Uttarakhand State Millets Policy 2026 has been approved, for the collection of millets production, the women self-help group will be given Rs 300 per quintal, increased from Rs 150 per quintal.
• Now the students of government schools from class 1 to 12 will also get notebooks along with books for free.
• The financial powers of the officers under the Disaster Management Department have been increased.
• The financial power of the District Magistrate was increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 1 crore.
• The financial power of the Commissioner was increased from Rs 1 crore to Rs 5 crore.
