Preparations for Ardh Kumbh 2027 have started in Uttarakhand. In this episode, Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan, while holding a meeting of the officials, has given instructions to nominate nodal officers within a week. The process of creation of necessary posts for Ardh Kumbh has also been asked to be completed.
Chief Secretary gave instructions for Ardh Kumbh
Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan held a review meeting regarding the preparations for Ardh Kumbh 2027 in Haridwar. During this, instructions have also been given to nominate nodal officers of various departments. Ardh Kumbh is to be organized in Haridwar, Uttarakhand in 2027. In such a situation, various departments have been asked to prepare plans and proposals. Especially the District Magistrate Haridwar has been instructed to complete the necessary preparations in this regard. Also, a meeting has been asked to be held soon with the concerned departments.
Nodal officers will be nominated in a week
Nodal officers of various executive departments will be nominated within the next one week for the upcoming Ardh Kumbh 2027. Apart from this, the process of creation of necessary posts will also be completed within a week. Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan has given a week’s ultimatum to the officials for this. The Chief Secretary has clarified that various committees and sub-committees should also be formed within this one week. Instructions have also been given to send various proposals to the Government of India by 30 April.
Ardh Kumbh to be held in Haridwar in 2027
The most important thing during Kumbh is crowd management and traffic management. In such a situation, these things have also been discussed in the review meeting. Obviously, the number of devotees increases on special days of Kumbh and in this situation, it is necessary to work on crowd management. In view of such a situation, instructions were given to work from now on for traffic and parking arrangements by accurately assessing the number of devotees.
Instructions to identify important places
Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan described the Haridwar area as important for Kumbh Mela, Kanwar Yatra and other religious events, in view of which the need to strengthen the basic infrastructure here was also felt. The Chief Secretary has instructed the officials to prepare plans by conducting on-site inspection of the Kumbh area and other important places.
A list of necessary works will be made
