This temple is near Badrinath. The name of that temple is Urvashi, where people go to visit. Also, a temple should be built in her name in the South as well.’ The pilgrimage priests are very angry with this statement of Urvashi Rautela. At the same time, Urvashi Rautela has also given clarification.

Demand for action against Urvashi Rautela and YouTube channel

A delegation of Uttarakhand Chardham Tirtha Purohit Mahapanchayat and Brahma Kapal Tirtha Purohit Panchayat Samiti met DGP Deepam Seth today i.e. on 19 April. The representatives met and submitted a complaint letter demanding action against Urvashi Rautela and the concerned YouTube channel.

Actress Urvashi Rautela has given a condemnable statement, in which she has said that there is a temple in her name near Badrinath Dham, which is an insult to the Sanatan tradition and the Dhams. Due to which, a meeting has been held with the DGP and action has been demanded against Urvashi Rautela.

Wherever Urvashi goes, the Tirtha Purohits will protest against her by tying a black band, but there is still time for Urvashi Rautela to take back her statements and apologize.

Urvashi temple is in Bamni village of Chamoli

Let us tell you that the temple of Maa Urvashi that Rautela has mentioned is in Bamni village, some distance from Badrinath in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It is believed that this temple was built from the left lotus of Lord Narayana in Badrikashram. This Urvashi mountain is situated in front of Narayan and Neelkanth mountains. It is said that Urvashi Devi appeared from the thighs of Lord Narayan, who was engaged in penance in Badrinath. This simply means that Badrinath Dham has an Urvashi temple, which has no connection with Urvashi Rautela.
