GMVN gets advance booking of Rs 7 crore before Chardham Yatra, charging facility will be available for electric vehicles

Before the start of Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand, GMVN i.e. Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam has received bookings worth more than Rs 7 crore. It is believed that this time the Chardham Yatra will break all previous records. Apart from this, GMVN is also promoting green travel this time.

GMVN has received advance bookings worth more than Rs 7 crore for all the guest houses, travel and other facilities of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam.

What did GMVN MD say? Vishal Mishra, Managing Director of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, said that the corporation is fully prepared for the Chardham Yatra. All the guest houses of the corporation have been repaired before the Yatra. Wherever repairs etc. were needed, all those works have been completed. He said that strict instructions have been given to the corporation staff to do a final inspection before the journey begins.

Charging facility will be available for electric vehicles in GMVN guest houses

GMVN MD Vishal Mishra said that electric charging stations have been set up to provide facilities to electric vehicles in about 21 guest houses of GMVN present on the Chardham Yatra Road.
