The Sanskrit Education Department of Uttarakhand is taking a new initiative to promote Sanskrit in the state. Preparations are now underway to create a Sanskrit village in Uttarakhand. The Dhami Cabinet has also approved it. The Sanskrit Education Department is preparing to select one village from each of the 13 districts of the state and make it a Sanskrit village.
