Five people in the car died in the tragic accident. As soon as the information was received, the rescue team reached the spot and started the rescue operation. But by then all five people had died.

The reason for the accident is said to be heavy rain and the car being at high speed. Giving information about the accident, Chamoli DM Sandeep Tiwari said that there were five people in the vehicle. All have died. The police team has taken out the bodies of the five deceased from the ditch and sent them for post-mortem. All five people were returning from the wedding ceremony.

CM Dhami expressed grief over the accident
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also expressed grief over the Chamoli accident. CM Dhami wrote on social media that there is news of some casualties in a vehicle accident in Nijamula area of ​​​​Chamoli.
