Uttarakhand: A young man died a painful death after being hit by a dumper loaded with mining material, his family members created a ruckus

A dumper loaded with mining material took the life of a young man in Udham Singh Nagar. Sagar Mandal, a resident of Tagore Nagar, died in a road accident on Sunday. After which there is an atmosphere of mourning and anger in the entire area.

The incident is from Shaktifarm area, where the terror of dumpers associated with illegal mining is continuously increasing. According to the information received, Sagar Mandal was crossing the road, when a dumper loaded with sand coming at a high speed crushed the young man. The young man died a painful death in the accident. The family of the deceased has accused the administration of negligence. Local people say that illegal mining is continuously going on in the area, but the responsible officers are turning a blind eye.

Public outrage
After the accident, angry villagers blocked the road and protested strongly. Municipal Panchayat Shaktigarh President Sumit Mandal himself has sat on a dharna. Hundreds of local people are also gathered with him. The victim’s family has warned that if illegal mining is not stopped in the area, a big movement will be organized. It is noteworthy that road accidents are happening every day in the Shaktigarh Nagar Panchayat area. Despite this, no action is being taken by the administration.
