Uttarakhand: Flights starting from Dehradun to four hill cities, now you will not have to travel a difficult distance; this will be the fare
The scope of air services is increasing in the state. In this episode, Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority is starting separate heli services between Sahasradhara to Gauchar and Joshiada from April 30. Along with this, heli service will be started between Sahasradhara to Pauri and Srinagar from May 15.
Their operation has been handed over to Thumbi Aviation. Also, the tender process is going on to start air service with 18-19 seater aircraft between Dehradun and Pantnagar. The scope of heli services is being continuously expanded in the state. Its objective is to provide safe, fast and accessible service to the mountainous areas.
Last month, the Chief Minister had flagged off heli services for Nainital, Bageshwar, Haldwani and Mussoorie. Now heli services are being started for four more new cities. Preparations have been made for this. Passengers can book online for this on the official website of Thumbi Aviation.
This will not only provide convenience to the local citizens but will also promote tourism in Uttarakhand. Along with this, rapid steps are also being taken towards starting air service between Dehradun and Pantnagar. Its tender process is going on. Soon the company will be selected and its operation will be started.
