Today, the Panchmukhi Bhog idol of Lord Kedarnath, seated in the Chal Utsav Vigraha Doli, has left for its abode Kedarnath from the winter seat Omkareshwar temple Ukhimath. After staying overnight in Guptkashi, Phata and Gaurikund, the Doli will reach the Dham on May 1 and on May 2 at 7 am, the doors of the Lord Kedarnath temple will be opened for the devotees on the auspicious Lagna.
For the smooth journey of Kedarnath Dham, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Ashutosh, special worship of Lord Bhakund Bhairavnath, revered as the Kshetrapal of Lord Kedarnath, was performed in the Panchkedar seat Omkareshwar temple. On this occasion, hundreds of devotees took blessings of happiness and prosperity by taking darshan.
On Sunday, from 7 pm, the winter worship and aarti of Lord Kedarnath and Lord Omkareshwar were performed in the sanctum sanctorum of the winter seat Omkareshwar temple.
