Uttarakhand: Fire broke out in many places in Kumaon forests, know where the forest department controlled it

Forest Conservator Dr. Vinay Bhargava informed that on Monday, information was received about fire in the Garampani forest of Bhawali Range of Forest Division Nainital in the district.
Along with this, information was received about fire in the forests of Chilkana, Betalghat compartment number 13 and 14 of Kosi Range. He said that the process of extinguishing the fire by the Forest Division is in progress.
Information has been received about fire in the forest of Unyali Block Haldwani Beat Room No. 08 of Fatehpur Range of Forest Division Ramnagar and information has been received about fire in the forest of Belgad compartment number -03 of Dechhouri. He said that the forest fire has been controlled.
The forest fire has been controlled by the teams of Forest Department and District Administration. Apart from this, the Forest Conservator said that no information of forest fire has been received in Forest Division Haldwani, Terai Eastern Forest Division Haldwani, Terai Central Forest Division Ramnagar and Land Conservation Forest Division Nainital.
He has appealed to the local people that in case of any fire accident in the forest area, they can inform on the departmental toll free number 18001804141, disaster control room 05942-231179, western circle 05946-220003 and southern circle 05946-235452.
