Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Cleaning lady dies after consuming poison, FIR lodged against Anil Kakkar of Ekta Vihar

A young woman working as a cleaner at the house of Anil Kakkar, a resident of Sahastradhara Road Ekta Vihar, died after consuming poison. In this case, the police have registered a case against Anil Kakkar under various sections and started investigation. According to the police, on 28/04/2025, Raipur police station received information through a death memo that a 16-year-old girl living in a slum on Sahastradhara Road, who was originally a resident of Sitamarhi, Bihar, had consumed poisonous substance on 26/04/2025, who was admitted to Coronation Hospital for treatment by her brother. She died there during treatment on the night of 27/04/2025.
According to the police, on the said information, the police force from Raipur police station reached the spot and the Panchayat Nama and post-mortem of the deceased were conducted. The viscera of the deceased has been preserved by the doctor as the cause of death was not clear in the post-mortem report. According to the police, in connection with the above incident, the family of the deceased has given an application at Raipur police station against Anil Kakkar, resident of Ekta Bihar Sahastradhara Road, at whose house the deceased used to work as a cleaner earlier, on which a case has been registered under the relevant sections. In the case, all the aspects of the incident will be thoroughly investigated and further legal action will be taken.
