After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, a red alert has been issued in Uttarakhand as well. 547 people were verified

Actually, on the instructions of Haridwar SSP Pramod Dobal, a verification campaign was conducted against the suspicious people in Piran Kaliyar, Roorkee under the leadership of SP Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal. During this, CO Mangalore Vivek Kumar, CO Laksar Natasha Singh were present with heavy police force. In this campaign, 547 tenants / domestic servants were verified.

41 suspects detained during verification campaign

Along with this, 41 suspects are being taken to Police Line Roshanabad and are being questioned thoroughly along with checking the documents. SP Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal said that-

41 suspicious people have been detained by running an intensive checking operation campaign. In this, many people did not even have Aadhar cards. A campaign has been launched to curb suspicious elements to prevent criminal incidents. During the verification campaign conducted with the cooperation of police of many police stations and 2 platoons of PAC, a total of 547 people were verified by 7 different police teams.

SP Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal said that all the people taken into custody have been released after warning. He said that all the people have been instructed to complete their paperwork. If any of these people does not complete their paperwork, then legal action will be taken against them.

At the same time, 11 hoteliers and landlords who kept tenants, domestic servants and outsiders without verification were issued a court/cash challan of Rs 90,000 under the Police Act. A total composition fee of Rs 10,500 was collected from 42 handcart, stall owners and scrap dealers. At the same time, all the landlords were directed to verify their tenants, domestic servants and outsiders soon. Also, people working in stalls, stalls, motor mechanics, garages and scrap dealers have also been directed to get their verification done.
