Rain alert for the whole week in Uttarakhand

The districts where light to moderate rain has been predicted at some places include Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal in Garhwal division. The districts of Kumaon division include Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Almora districts. The 2 districts where there is a possibility of light to very light rain at some places, one district is Haridwar of Garhwal division and the other district is Udham Singh Nagar of Kumaon division. The 3 districts where light to moderate rain is predicted in many places include Dehradun from Garhwal division and Champawat and Nainital from Kumaon division. This spell of rain will continue for the whole week.

Rain will continue till May 7

On May 3, the ratio of rain will increase and light to moderate rain will occur in many places in 11 districts of the state. On May 4, light to moderate rain will occur in 6 places. From May 5 to May 7, there will be heavy rain in 11 districts. Meteorological Department scientists have asked people to take special precautions while traveling. There is a danger of floods and landslides due to rain. Instructions have been given to stay indoors during thunder and lightning.

Rain caused heavy destruction on Thursday

Earlier, on the very first day of the month of May, rain caused heavy destruction in many areas of the state. Rain wreaked havoc in Berinag area of ​​Pithoragarh. There were conditions like cloud burst in many areas. It also rained in all the four Dhams. Snow also fell on the high peaks.
