Uttarakhand: Kedarnath Dham Yatra also started with the opening of the gates, the first puja was done in the name of PM Modi, 15 thousand people including CM Dhami witnessed the opening of the gates

The doors of the world famous eleventh Jyotirlinga Shri Kedarnath Dham located in Rudraprayag were opened with rituals on Friday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also witnessed the opening of the doors. On opening of the doors, the Chief Minister prayed at Kedarnath Dham and wished for happiness, prosperity and peace in the state. The first worship in Kedarnath Dham was performed in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The doors of Baba Kedar opened at 7 am amid chanting of mantras, proclamation of Har Har Mahadev and devotional tunes of the band of the Grenadier Regiment of the Army.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated all the countrymen on the opening of the doors. He said that along with the state, the whole country waits for this moment. Kedarnath Dham is a major center of religious faith of Sanatan Dharma followers as well as a symbol of India’s spiritual and cultural heritage. This is a time of celebration for our state. The Chief Minister prayed to Baba Kedar for the auspicious journey of all the pilgrims.

The Chief Minister said that the number of devotees visiting Baba Kedarnath’s Dham is increasing every year. With the blessings of Baba Kedarnath, this year too the Char Dham Yatra will create a new record. He said that the state government has ensured all the arrangements for the systematic and successful conduct of the Char Dham Yatra. The government has made all the necessary arrangements for the convenience, safety and ease of the devotees coming on the Char Dham Yatra. He said that it is the duty of all of us Uttarakhand residents to welcome the guests coming from the country and the world with intimacy and service spirit.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an ardent devotee of Baba Kedarnath. After the 2013 disaster, the work of reconstruction of Kedar Nagari started under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Under his guidance, today the divine and grand construction work of the Kedarnath complex has been done. The Prime Minister had described the third decade of the 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand from this very land of Kedarnath. To make his words true, the state government is constantly establishing new dimensions of development.

Baba Kedarnath’s Dham was decorated with more than 108 quintals of flowers

The Kedarnath temple was decorated grandly for the inauguration of the doors. The temple has been decorated with more than 108 quintals of flowers. Amidst the grand decoration, as soon as the doors opened, flower shower was also done from the helicopter, seeing which the devotees were overwhelmed.

The Panchmukhi Utsav Doli of Lord Kedarnath reached Shri Kedarnath Dham via various stops like Guptkashi, Phata, Gaurikund, via the winter seat of Shri Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath. At 6 o’clock, Rawal Bhimashankar Ling of Shri Kedarnath Dham, priest Bagesh Ling, MLA Kedarnath Asha Nautiyal, District Magistrate Saurabh Gaharwar, BKTC Chief Executive Officer Vijay Prasad Thapliyal, Tirtha Purohit Srinivas Posti, religious leaders, Vedpathis, Arvind Shukla of Bhairav ​​Nath entered the temple from the east gate and participated in the worship of the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. After invoking the gods and goddesses and wishing and vowing for the welfare of the people, the doors of the Shri Kedarnath temple were opened for the devotees to have darshan at exactly 7 o’clock in the morning. At the same time, the main south gate of the temple also opened.

Doors of Kedarnath Dham opened, Chief Minister distributed prasad to devotees in the main sevak bhandaar, also met devotees from different states

On the occasion of the opening of the doors of the world famous eleventh Jyotirlinga Shri Kedarnath Dham, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami distributed prasad to the devotees at the Mukhya Sevak Bhandara organized in the Kedarnath premises. During this, he also honored the environmental friends engaged in the cleanliness of Kedarnath, the people who made their significant contribution in the reconstruction work.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with his wife distributed prasad and served food to the devotees under the Mukhya Sevak Bhandara. The devotees looked very happy to have the Chief Minister among them. During this, thousands of people took the prasad of Mukhya Sevak Bhandara. The Chief Minister met the devotees who came to Kedarnath and also took feedback from them about the arrangements made for the Yatra. The devotees expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the various arrangements made by the state government for the Yatra.

The Chief Minister congratulated all the countrymen on the opening of the doors of Baba Kedarnath. He said that the doors of Badrinath ji will open on May 4. The state government is fully prepared to welcome the devotees coming from all over the country and make their journey smooth. The Chief Minister said that last year there was a disaster in the Kedarnath region, due to which the pilgrimage was disrupted for about 35 days. The government and the administration restarted the pilgrimage with the cooperation of the local people, as a result of which a record number of devotees came to the Char Dham.

The Chief Minister said that the state government continuously monitors the pilgrimage at every level. Various basic facilities have also been established on the pilgrimage routes. He said that the Char Dham Yatra is also the lifeline of the state. This pilgrimage is also a means of livelihood for millions of people. The Chief Minister said that the state government is determined to ensure that the Char Dham Yatra continues throughout the year, for which winter pilgrimage has also been started in the state. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Maa Ganga in Mukhwa, Uttarkashi to promote winter pilgrimage in the state.

The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of all the people of the state. He said that the reconstruction work of Kedarnath is being done under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister regularly reviews the Kedarnath reconstruction work. The grand construction work of Kedarnath is going on at a cost of 2000 crores. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Central Government has approved the construction of ropeway from Gaurikund to Kedarnath.
