The ministry has said that this exercise is a demonstration of India’s military preparedness and a sign of being alert amid regional concerns. This exercise is taking place at a time when tensions are high on the border. On the other hand, the Union Home Ministry has also organized a civil defense mock drill across the country on Wednesday. This drill will be held in more than 250 districts of the country. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has instructed all states and union territories to conduct this drill.
